What is an ASQ?
The Ages and Stages Questionnaire is a child development screener that allows you to check in on how your child is growing and learning. There are two different versions of the ASQ: the ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2.
ASQ-3
The ASQ-3 is for children ages 1 month to 5 1/2 years. The ASQ-3 checks in on the following areas of your child’s development: communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, personal-social. You can complete the ASQ-3 in 10-15 minutes.
ASQ:SE-2
The ASQ: SE-2 is for children ages 1 month to 6 years. The ASQ:SE-2 allows you to check in on your child’s social and emotional development. You can complete the ASQ: SE-2 in 10-15 minutes.
